Free Customizable Internet Radio

I read about this in the New York Times, which is a wickedly good newspaper. There is a recent trend towards free customizable internet radio, and this should trump the digital radio boxes. So I signed up for Pandora. It's really cool. You tell Pandora what your favorite song or artist is, and they use data compiled by musicologists (people with PhDs in music, believe it or not and I've met one, weirder still...) to compile similar songs for you. It's cool. It's free. I recommend it.

If you need to fake a U.S. post code, 90210 always works for me.

I can't believe I live here...

This is my city in MARCH.

artificial indoor flora

Desperate attempts to remember what flowers look like mean that I am have to force them indoors. Last night I dreamt of flowers blooming. Outdoors. Without snow and sleet and slush and ice and hail the size of golf balls. Dare to dream.

What a nightmare this country is.

Who has the nastiest weather of them all?

This is the view outside of my front door.

It's March, people.

I bet others have flowers and birds and green grass. I have this... (and I'm more than a little tired of it. tired enough to move overseas...)
