Whole Foods?

Okay. It will be a happy day for me when this store franchises across the border and into my country. Or will it?

What do you guys think about Whole Foods? I am a big proponent of organic produce. We don't have enough up here and I really think you need to do everything you can to reduce your toxic body burden.

Whole Foods has franchised into the U.K. but not into Canada. Yet. Any opinions on this store and it's produce?

I find that they have some incredible finds - but overall I can purchase the same organic products for much less elsewhere -

when they firt opened a store here we waked through with a list of items we buy regularily - each item was EXACTLY $0.50 - $1.00 more per unit -

I am a big supporter of the idea to "buy locally" so I always reccomend looking for a local organic farm - many deliver to your door

I like Whole Foods in theory - I used to shop there a lot. But I think the entire store is way overpriced. It's easy to eat very healthy w/o shopping there.

Oh, you mean WholePaycheck.

There are several locations in the Philly area, but none close enough to me. My local supermarket has their own organic brand that's not too expensive, so I buy that.

Trader Joe's is pretty good, too.
